story // whitepaper v1
What happens when you run great_toly.exe?
A short, honest whitepaper for a strange little game: what the simulation is, how progress works, and what the token does — and does not — do.

1. Premise
Someone has launched great_toly.exe. Inside a fictional Solana simulation, Runtime City is drowning in broken scripts, spam bots, abandoned missions and questionable advice from people who have never shipped anything.
A green voxel Toly appears as your mission guide. His orange antenna receives unstable transmissions from across the simulation. You arrive as an unknown builder with an empty inventory and a terminal full of errors.
2. One connected world
Runtime City is a 3D world you walk through, not a level-select menu. The three districts are buildings you enter. Their guides stand in their own rooms, and the activities are played at the stations where they happen.
The Validator Foundry trains Compute through timing and machinery drills. The Builder Underground trains Signal through conversation, memory and rhythm. The Entropy Arcade trains Nerve through probability and the decision to stop.
3. Progression
Each district has six missions in order, gated by its stat. The sixth mission awards that district's fragment: Compute, Signal or Entropy. Hidden missions appear through the people you get to know.
Holding all three fragments unlocks Execute Greatness: restore power at the Foundry, coordinate the crew in the Underground, stabilize the Arcade, return to Toly's terminal, and execute the program. The run can be replayed at any time.
4. Economy
Runtime Credits are the in-game currency. They are earned by playing, spent on gear and cosmetics, and never leave the game. Free play in any district is capped per day so no room becomes the efficient grind, and free play never raises stats or awards fragments.
The Entropy Arcade uses in-game arcade credits only. There are no token wagers, deposits, real money or cash-outs. Its games print their real house edge and return; good decisions manage risk but never guarantee a win.
5. $GtolyEXE
$GtolyEXE is the project's token identity on Solana. It is separate from gameplay: owning it does not complete missions, grant fragments, raise stats or improve any probability.
In this build, token claims are not implemented. Entering the game asks you to connect a wallet — Phantom, Solflare, or a simulated Demo Wallet — which only shares a public address; nothing is signed or sent. Completion records are stored in your browser (and in your account's cloud save when you sign in). They are not verified onchain. Supply, allocations and vesting are not published here; any future change will come through the project's official channels.
6. Independence
Great Toly Exe is an independent fan project inspired by Solana culture. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Anatoly Yakovenko, Solana Labs, or the Solana Foundation. All character dialogue is fictional game dialogue, not real quotes.
